The room was clean, and pets are allowed. Even though construction was going on, everyone working there from March 11th to 15th, 2026 was really nice. They brought us a replacement TV when they realized ours wasn’t working right and checked whether we needed anything. I’d stay there again.

There are plenty of good places to eat within five miles, and a new restaurant, "Legend Bar & Grill," is supposed to open at the Four Horseman Hotel soon. Alex was super helpful and attentive, and the service was excellent. It felt good to see this old historical motor lodge being restored and cared for. I remember it from when I was a kid, and they’re making a major investment to turn it into a wonderful place to stay in Pilot Point. It also felt safe. Enjoy, Derek.

The location near the center of Pilot Point was the only good thing about the place. They advertise laundry, but there isn’t any. The pool is also still advertised, even though it hasn’t been open for years. We booked this past summer looking forward to swimming after spending time around Pilot Point, but when we arrived it was obvious the pool hadn’t been used in a long time. Since it was summer, we turned on the AC, but it took a full 24 hours for the room to cool down.

They got in touch right away when I accidentally left a couple of things in the room, so I could come back and pick them up. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean, and my fur babies were welcome.

The room was generally clean, and it was nice and quiet at night. Service was kind and prompt, even while they were fixing a water leak. It’s an old motel, so nothing really surprised or offended me. There aren’t other options in Pilot Point. The location was convenient, next to a gas station and a laundromat, and close to where I needed to be. I could have stayed somewhere nicer, but it would have been a lot farther away. Not bad.
