We were only there for one night, so the only staff member we met was the person who checked us in. They were really friendly and pleasant to talk to. Check-in was quick, and our room was clean. That was all we needed.

The room was great, with good beds and all the accessories we needed. There was shampoo and body wash in the shower, plus a coffee maker and coffee in the room. The desk staff were friendly and check-in was easy; checkout was even easier. Getting our things in from the motorcycle was a hassle because a car blocked the far end of the building near our room, but we managed. We were also uneasy when we saw that our door looked like it had mold or rust on it, though the other doors looked clean and freshly painted. Thankfully, the room itself was excellent. Breakfast was the low point. The biscuits were burnt on the bottom and hard as a rock, so we went with a soft, fresh bagel instead. If you’re fine with a bagel or waffle for breakfast, I’d recommend the place for a clean night’s sleep. There are three truck stops almost within walking distance for food, drinks, and snacks, and the highway is very close.

Nothing fancy here, just clean rooms. They have soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower and a hand soap dispenser by the sink. It’s pet friendly, with a one-time fee at check-in, and breakfast is offered too. The price is lower than Motel 6.

I needed somewhere to stay with a snowstorm coming, and this worked out for the night. Staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was decent for the reasonable price. They couldn’t offer me the lowest room rate because the storm was keeping employees from getting in. The parking lot hadn’t been plowed, though I suppose that’s North Carolina for you.
