5 Star Victorian Mansion-Downtown No Locals

Chris was the best part of our visit. He was kind and accommodating, and made us feel more welcome than we’ve felt at any hotel or inn. His thoughtful work and warm chats made such an impression that we’re already talking about another trip just to see him again. I won’t forget staying here. The house itself is charming and full of history. Our spacious, spotless room had extra pillows and bedding ready, and the shared areas were comfortable and remarkably well kept. Breakfast felt especially thoughtful. The bathroom was cleaned nearly every time I used it, and the big shower had a handy bench. The house was full, but we never waited for the restroom or even crossed paths with anyone heading to shower. If you book a place knowing the bathroom is shared, I can’t see why you’d complain about that.

Chris, the manager, greeted us like old friends and made us feel right at home. The house is comfortable and immaculate, and the details are beautiful, especially the wood floors and trim and the leaded glass window. It’s a gorgeous 125-year-old mansion. We highly recommend this B&B and plan to come back.

The decor is lovely, and I really like the upgrades they’ve made. Chris does a great job managing the property and is consistently wonderful to deal with. This is a beautiful place, and I’m already looking forward to returning. If you’re nearby, give it a stay. I think you’ll enjoy it.
