We enjoyed our RV park stay mostly because the owner was so kind and sweet. The site is between the road and railroad tracks, though the road was noisier for us. The train doesn't honk here, and the noise didn't keep us from sleeping, but we're not especially bothered by that kind of thing. It wasn't the most peaceful spot we've stayed. A couple of practical things were confusing. The office-hours sign lists afternoon and evening hours, but I wasn't sure if those were actually for the restaurant. I walked over for laundromat change on a weekday, and although the owner said they weren't open, she still let me in and exchanged bills for coins. The laundromat itself was very nice. Finding the RV park from the east was also confusing. Google Maps leads to the inn, while the park entrance is the next one heading west. Coming from the west should be straightforward, but from the east there wasn't cell service to call, and no sign marking the park.

We booked two nights, but the service was awful from the start. When we called to say we were delayed getting to the border, a rude man answered and seemed unsure whether we'd even reached the right number. He called back to question whether we'd booked there, then gave brief directions for getting into the room and hung up. The border was closed, so we had to find a room on the Canadian side for the first night. When we arrived at this place the next day, nothing was open and there was no greeting or check-in. We went elsewhere. At checkout, the same rude attitude made us feel like an inconvenience. We didn't stay, and they kept the payment for the second night even though we refused it. For similar prices, drive a few more miles and you'll find other places with much better service and respect.

If you're hoping for a quiet night after hiking Glacier National Park, this place between a busy road and railroad tracks won't do. The room had an old-fashioned 1960s feel, with a few newer touches: a broken microwave, a flat-screen TV you could bump your head on, and a coffee maker. The rooster outside was another thing you'd hear with the windows open. Breakfast meant a half-hour drive. The large box fan helped with the musty smell and added some white noise, which was useful since the mini-split wasn't very effective.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived, and we were told it doesn't open on Mondays. The listing hadn't mentioned that. We were sent six miles down the road to the Izaak Walton LOGE Inn/bar and grill, and wished we'd booked there instead. It was a better hotel for a similar price. The ads made this sound like a self-contained resort, but it's really just a few cabins and a restaurant. On top of that, halfway through the evening the air conditioner started shaking and rattling loudly, louder than the freight trains passing by. When I asked about it, they said a part had been ordered and would arrive in a few days. That didn't help us that night, and the noise made sleep seem impossible. I asked for another room and was told none were available, though there were clearly hardly any other vehicles outside. It felt like a weak excuse.
