Holiday Lodge

I only stayed because I had no other option while in town for my child's parents day at the local university. The place smelled like stale cigarettes, and I found mold in the shower. When I mentioned it, the man at the counter said, “that is normal I’m from New York.” I tried to respond, but he just told me goodbye and went into the back office. He clearly doesn't take criticism. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. For your own peace of mind and your family's, stay somewhere else.

The staff were friendly, and the room was about what you'd expect for a low price. But free breakfast is advertised online and on the sign outside, so I set an alarm for 7 just to get coffee and something to eat. There was nothing at all, and not even a coffee maker in the room. The whole place had one regular 12-cup pot, with no cups and no coffee made. Very disappointing. If a budget hotel advertises free breakfast, it should provide it.

People were shouting in the lobby at 3 a.m., demanding their money back and waking us up. We were women staying there alone, and after staff commented on that, we felt really uncomfortable. The staff were super weird, and people sat in the lobby drinking all day. The place was dirty, with roaches. Our door barely locked, and the bathroom had no light, so you had to leave the door open to see. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. For your sanity, don't stay here.

The management were really nice, and the motel was clean and reasonably priced. I loved staying here!
