Hyatt Place Pittsburgh Airport/Robinson Mall

We first stayed here by chance, and now we come back whenever we’re in the area. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and the location is convenient. The free breakfast is very good, with plenty of hot and cold food and drink choices. Staff have always been friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Nalli is wonderful, always such a bright light whenever you interact with her. This was my second stay and it was great again. The hotel is close to Robinson and not too far from the city. They were renovating while we were there, so I’m looking forward to seeing the updated area when I come back. I’ll 100% be back!

We stayed for the first night of the NFL Draft, and the hotel was easy to reach. It’s close to everything without having to drive through downtown Pittsburgh traffic. The staff were amazing, greeting us with friendly smiles and being welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, and the free breakfast the next morning was delicious. There’s a pool and a bar open until 2 a.m. A great experience, and I’ll be back!

The room was dirty, with stains on the sheets, and nobody cleaned it during my four-day stay. I thought housekeeping came daily. There’s a QR code in the hallways asking for tips, but for what? The room phone didn’t work either. The fitness center was awful: dusty, dirty machines, a filthy floor, no mats, and only free weights for strength training. Maybe it’d work if you only do cardio. There was no pool available because it was under renovation, though they offered to send me to a sister property. The hotel advertises a shuttle, but when I got to the airport they called a rideshare instead. That was fine, but it wasn’t what the website said. Breakfast was bad too, with poor-quality liquid eggs, cereal, and juice. The coffee wasn’t strong, although coffee and tea were available 24/7. Some of the staff were odd. One woman didn’t even look up at me, and they dressed like they were watching TV at home instead of working at a Hyatt. I thought a Hyatt would be nice, but this was disgusting. My parents stayed at the Holiday Inn nearby and it was worlds better. I wouldn’t stay again and don’t recommend it.
