Springhill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Mt. Lebanon

The front desk guy was willing to help and didn’t argue with us, honestly the best part of this hotel. My significant other’s work booked our stay, and they’re Titanium members, but after driving seven hours we still had to move through three rooms before we gave up and stayed because we were exhausted. The first room was filthy, with gross carpet and mold in the shower. Room two was no better, with mold caked on the shower head. Room three was probably as good as we were going to get, though the shower still had mold. I know hotels aren’t going to be perfectly clean, but the bathroom and bed should be clean. For the nightly cost plus parking, the place should be much cleaner. There’s no ventilation in the rooms, either, so after you use the bathroom the smell hangs around the whole time.

We were comfortable here for our 10-day Christmas stay, and the place was clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. One tip: the garage is small and has awkward angles, so if you’re bringing a large vehicle, look for parking elsewhere 💓

Every time I’m in Pittsburgh, the team at SpringHill Suites Mount Lebanon makes me feel welcome. Josh at the front desk deserves a special mention. He’s very accommodating, finds me the best rates, and even helped me through a recent snowstorm by literally shoveling me out. The whole front desk crew is kind and professional, so checking in feels like coming home. The hardworking housekeeping and maintenance teams keep the hotel quite clean, and breakfast staff do a great job keeping the food fresh and tasty. For a relaxed, high-quality stay in the area, I highly recommend this location.

I’m a Marriott Gold Elite member and usually ask for a few bottles of water at check-in without any trouble. On a quick overnight trip to Pittsburgh, I forgot to ask then, so later my son went to the front desk for some. They wouldn’t give him any and told him to fill a bottle at the gym. He was also told the desk had bottled water, but guests could only buy it from the hotel. That wasn’t the usual Marriott experience for me 👎.
