Gold Country Inn

The bed and bathroom were neat and clean, which mattered most to me, though there were a couple of spiders in the bathroom. The room was okay overall. Even though it was marked non-smoking, it smelled a little like smoke, and the chairs were quite dusty.

The owner took time to tell me about the town's history and places worth visiting. My room was always clean, and it was a very pleasant, comfortable stay. The staff were exceptional and ready to help with whatever I needed. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

We've spent five sleepless nights in this horrible motel. The place could be empty, yet they put the three paying guests next to one another. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything. The bed feels at least 20 years past comfortable, and the heater makes awful cracking and popping noises that keep waking you. We've had to ask for clean towels and washcloths, and our keys stopped working. After I posted my first review, the manager called at 10 pm, incredulous that I'd left such a bad review. I have nothing good to say about this place. It was a horrible experience.

We stopped for a quick rest after a 10-hour drive. It was the best low price we found in the area, and the staff were nice. The room was small, but the bed was cozy and comfortable. Thanks for cleaning it as we asked.
