Embassy Suites by Hilton Plainfield Indianapolis A

I’m proud to be a diamond member. For such an affordable rate, I didn’t expect the hotel to feel this luxurious. It’s gorgeous, and the front desk staff especially impressed me. Miss Marissa checked me in and was a true professional. Hilton should consider her for a manager promotion. Keep it up.

The only thing I can complain about is that the airport is close, though that’s hardly something the hotel can control. Breakfast was handled well, with staff keeping the seating areas clean and getting omelette orders out. We loved our stay with my wife a couple of weeks ago. The African-American woman who checked us in late at night was sweet and very helpful throughout. She was still there in the morning, full of energy even after being there all night.

We missed the restaurant because it had closed by the time we arrived, though previous guests have told us good things about it. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was especially comfortable. Downstairs, the coffee selection was first-class, noticeably better than what most hotels offer. Embassy Suites Plainfield feels extremely well managed, and I think it’s the nicest hotel near the airport. We got a warm welcome right away, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful and tastefully done. The price is outstanding for the quality compared with other nearby hotels. My small complaint is that I wish the shuttle and bar/grill stayed open a bit later on weekends. It’s an easy recommendation for anyone near the airport.

The lobby and bar are welcoming, breakfast is great, and the hotel is clean and nicely appointed. The staff are friendly, too. My minor complaints were the snow-covered parking lot and the minimal effort to clear it while I was there. I also can’t stand thermostat limits. I’m paying a handsome price for a room and want to choose the temperature myself.
