Holiday Inn Express Princeton Southeast by IHG

We had to change rooms because the AC/heater wasn’t working, but the staff helped quickly and were very accommodating. Everything else went well, from check-in through breakfast, and the hotel’s interior has a distinctive look. Its quiet location was just what we needed. We’ll come back when we’re in the area.

The outside is an odd-looking concrete building, but it sits in a lovely woodside spot by a lake. From our ground-floor room we could watch deer feeding in the woods. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and I liked the updated decor inside. Breakfast was great too. I loved the place and was sorry we only had one night. Guests can also use the pool and gym at the adjoining hotel.

A leafy property with beautiful views, a huge indoor pool, and a well-stocked fitness room. There are comfy sitting spots, including one by a gas fireplace, plus tucked-away nooks for reading. The room was large, clean, and well appointed, and the front desk staff were the friendliest I’ve met in New Jersey. This place and its people feel like a hidden diamond, and it’s convenient to everything. I loved staying here and will be back next time I’m in NJ. In February 2026, Google alerted me that my review had reached 1,000 views. I think that’s wonderful! I hope I can stay here again later this spring or in early summer.

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and this is one of the very best. It was spotless, smelled great, and had perfect lighting. The large pool in the connected hotel was warm too. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Some even went out of their way to assist with our special need, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.
