Budget Inn Plainview

We got a room at 7:45 pm on a Friday at the last minute, and I was grateful they had a single king bed instead of two queens. The room was clean and spacious, with a renovated bathroom. We were at the back of the property, where the planted vegetable gardens made a nice change from the freeways you see at most hotels. The staff were super friendly. This was the best motel we stayed at on the whole vacation, and we’ll come back if we get the chance.

We paid $90 for a room, and the people here were super rude to my husband and me. We were left with one used roll of toilet paper, so when I asked for more at night, a rude man told me it was too late to ask. What was I supposed to use, my socks? They complain about the dumbest things, too. My car was in the shop, so someone just dropped me off at my room one night. I was the only one who got out, but less than two seconds after I went in, they kept calling my room to say no guests were allowed. Don’t waste your time or money, sorry people.

It’s fine apart from a few things: the beds are hard, the fridges don’t work, and the TV was broken in one spot and crooked. The AC is in a terrible place. That’s all I’ve got to say 😂

Really impressive for the price. I stopped here for one night while passing through, and there was always staff on site if I needed anything. The rooms and beds were clean, and the newer memory foam mattress was great on my back.
