Warrick Plaza Inn

If I could, I'd give it minus 100 stars. Stay away! It's the dirtiest, nastiest place I've ever seen. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in three years, and the sheets might as well have been washed in another life. Big mistake, and there are big “no refunds” signs.

The room was clean apart from a shower head that really needed cleaning. There was also a hole in the wall patched with duct tape, and the rooms were very outdated. Still, I had a pleasant visit overall. The motel manager was kind and prompt, and the rooms were reasonably priced.

The new owners greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. She was very kind and is working on fixing the place up. I appreciated being told smoking rooms were available. No complaints from me, it's a great little place to crash for a night or so.

I'd have slept in my car before choosing that room. We had a reservation and asked the housekeeper if we could see it before paying. Good thing we did. The place looked old, dated, and run-down, with musty smells. Inside, the decor and wallpaper were old-fashioned, the bed looked old, and the sheets were dirty. Bath towels were on the floor outside the room, which felt unsanitary, and the appliances looked old too. Nobody had any people skills. A bad experience for $50 a night. I wouldn't give it any stars.
