Cambria Hotel Plano Frisco

The restaurant’s food felt like much more than “bar food.” The ingredients were really fresh, and that was true from breakfast through dinner. Angel made great drinks at the bar and was fun to talk with. I also appreciated the hospitality as a titanium guest. Even the GM, Mr. Alec, takes time to check whether guests are enjoying their stay or need anything. At this location, you feel like part of the Choice family, not just a number or dollar sign. The hotel itself feels like a home away from home, with a modern, chic look that mixes lounge, restaurant and boutique style. It’s welcoming, very clean, and smells amazing, especially around the lobby, lounge and restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, and the hallways and elevators are kept clean. The staff blew me away. Miss Crystal at the front desk went above and beyond. Miss Angela easily fixed a reservation issue with the 800 number right there at the desk. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. Even after just a few days, it felt like home. I’ll definitely be back soon! 💯😊💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location suited me, but the hotel itself felt gross. The carpet was sticky, and my room smelled like urine. The next day I found a stink bug on the bed, though I don’t know how it got in. To make things worse, staff started using the room next door as a public bathroom because their restrooms were out of order. All day I heard the door slam as people came and went. They said they were booked and couldn’t move me. It wasn’t until I called Expedia that they said they’d move the bathroom somewhere else. But if they had another room to use as a bathroom, why couldn’t I move into one? It was a terrible stay. I’m not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it.

We came here to relax, but people in the room next door had a party and smoked all night. Their music kept us awake until 5 in the morning. We called the front desk twice, but they didn’t seem to care, since the neighbors kept going. There’s nothing wrong with a party, but a hotel is a place where people come to relax. If you want a good, quiet night, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I’m definitely not coming back.

The hotel had oversold its capacity, so guests in our group of 20 were made to share rooms. One person who had to share has a visual disability, but the hotel provided neither an accessible room nor any adequate alternative. Throughout the whole situation, the manager and front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. This was a horrible experience, and I don’t recommend the hotel at all.
