The hotel manager was the one person who handled things professionally. He listened and took action once he learned what had happened, though that was the next day. The young woman who'd been staying there had to sleep in her car until he arrived, from about 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. on a bitterly cold North Texas night. Before that, I watched the overnight desk clerk treat her complaint to upper management with contempt. She seemed to enjoy making an already difficult situation harder, and discussed intimate details loudly on the phone with the assistant manager while other tenants could hear. I got the impression it was meant to damage the tenant's reputation, but I don't want to spread rumors. She'd been there for much of a year, paying upwards of $100 a day, and from what I was told the weekly rate barely reduced that. I won't share the details of her circumstances, but she seemed desperate and her request didn't sound unreasonable. I followed her down the hall to offer condolences, and the clerk shouted at my spouse and me to leave the building and go out into the cold. We had to wait in the foyer between the two sets of doors for our rideshare. Soon after, the same clerk threatened to have us trespassed from "her" building, with no concern for our safety or why we were there. To avoid any more of that, we went across the parking lot to the neighboring hotel. They welcomed us and helped us with what we needed. I can't recommend this place while those two employees are still there. I've traveled all over the world with the Air Force and moved constantly, and this was among the rudest hotel encounters I've had.

The desk clerk at check-in was courteous and professional, which is why I'd give service two stars instead of one. The room was ordinary, though I kept hearing something scrape against the walls. I couldn't tell if it was next door or upstairs, and maybe it was someone's child, but I don't know. At checkout I needed a printed, itemized receipt in case the emailed one didn't arrive. The woman was curt but professional at first. The receipt she printed wasn't itemized, and when I asked for that version she got defensive, saying, "That's the receipt it says receipt on it." After about five minutes of clicking and typing, she printed the one I needed, left it on the counter, and walked off. She didn't even say "You're Welcome" when I thanked her.

Dezman at the front desk cooked me a plate for Thanksgiving when I couldn't get home, and I have to say, he can cook. The staff were also great about treating guests like family. I really enjoyed my stay from November 14 til December 2,2025, and I'll come back when I'm in the area.

The bathroom door and walls were filthy, and dirty towels were hanging behind the door and on the wall hook when we came back to our room. There weren't any clean hand towels or wash cloths. I was completely disgusted. I told the front desk early in the morning, but they seemed unimpressed and said they'd pass it on to management. I emailed both the assistant GM and GM and never got a reply. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I found the room clean and the service friendly, and the kitchen was well supplied. I even grilled burgers and chicken outside. The front desk also lets you check out things like blenders and a crock pot, which made it easy to cook healthier meals. Free laundry, a gym with a nice range of equipment, and a business desk with a computer and printer were handy for me. I'll stay here again.
