Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Plano/Richardson at Coit Rd

I was charged nearly $350 to hold the room, then almost $300 again at checkout because I used a debit card. For two nights last weekend, when I was there for my girlfriend's grandfather's 90th birthday, that came to about $650, which I think is ridiculous. Nobody had told me about the hold or second charge, or that they’d charge my card instead of the one used to book. The front desk woman wasn’t very polite when I asked about it. Three days later my account was still negative by $300, so I called and spoke to the same employee. She was very unprofessional and kept talking over me. The stay itself was okay.

The room was spacious, and I liked having a full refrigerator and freezer for food and snacks. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, so I slept well. We were on the 3rd floor, and the shower took several minutes to warm up. Just something to know, it wasn’t a problem. I forgot my toothbrush and was disappointed to find I had to pay for one at the front desk.

After a grueling flight, I arrived past midnight completely exhausted, and Christina Flores, Ashley Reyes and Melissa welcomed me with smiles and courtesy. They helped me feel safe and comfortable, and they’re real gems. Mrs MELISSA at the front desk was especially professional, with a smile like sunshine. She helped me from before I arrived until after I left. It’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, in a prime location, and the staff are incredible assets. This Residence Inn off of Coit Rd was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. I even got a happy 50th birthday present from the hotel. Thank you! Fabulous! 🤗🎉🎉

We enjoy every stay here. The whole team works together, and you can see how much they care about the location. Great things to say about management, especially Genesis, housekeeping each day, the breakfast staff, and even the guests. Five stars, well deserved.
