Best Western Plus Plant City Hotel

The breakfast was always the same, and the people around the place, including the front desk guy, seemed really sketchy. The cleaners never cleaned the room. There was a stain on the bed sheet when I arrived, and both the windows and the inside of the drawers were dirty. The pool and hot tub were dirty too. This hotel could be a lot better, but I would never set foot in it, or this doghouse, again.

Motti at the front desk genuinely tried to help us, but the property was terrible. The smell of marijuana hit us as soon as we got off the elevator. In the first room, the sheets had visible grease or some unknown stain, and when I pulled them back there was what looked like blood. There was no fire detector in the room. Motti moved us to a suite after I reported it, but that room was even worse, with brown stains on the bed and filth throughout. This isn't about being picky. Nobody should have to sleep on sheets with blood-like or fecal-looking stains. The cleanliness and hygiene were unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

It was a good price for one night, and the pool and hot tub were good. The room was clean, but the shower pressure was weak, the door lock was broken, and a gym machine needs fixing. The man who checked me in could use a better attitude and a smile. The woman there when I checked out in the morning was lovely, bless her kind soul.

There's a nice, big area behind the Inn where you can walk pets. The rooms are dimly lit, which you could call ambience, I guess, but the bathroom definitely needs a better cleaning.
