Andrea gave us a warm welcome right away during our two-night stay at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/Plantation. We arrived early, and she happily stored our bags, explained the area, and suggested some excellent lunch spots while we waited for the room. When we checked in a few hours later, we found a newly renovated room with a great feel and fit. Andrea is exactly the sort of team member you'd want welcoming guests. The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we liked the range at the complimentary hot breakfast, especially the sausages, oatmeal, and piping-hot Seattle’s Best coffee. With so many costly hotels nearby, some barely one-star quality, this place feels like a hidden gem for comfort and value. Highly recommend.

The room was comfortable, and the location convenient during my stay at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/Plantation. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly, professional, and welcoming, and made the process smooth with a great first impression. Some other staff let the experience down. A few cleaning staff and front desk employees seemed noticeably unfriendly, and their personal appearance and cleanliness didn't meet the professional standard I'd expect from a Hyatt. It made the atmosphere feel less polished. There were positives, but I hope management addresses staff presentation and professionalism so future guests get a more consistently welcoming experience.

The hotel is getting much-needed renovations, and after two nights I just couldn't get comfortable in my first room. The staff understood when I asked to move and were accommodating. During the rush to transfer my things, I left my passport behind and didn't realize until two days after checkout. Vaneslys, the manager, explained how lost items are handled and, when I asked, checked between the sofa cushions herself. She saved me so many headaches by going the extra mile. The service was top-notch throughout our 4-night stay. Thank you, Vaneslys. I'll be back and look forward to seeing the hotel once the renovations are done.

Rita was fantastic and really accommodating. We got there early, and she had a room ready hours before the usual check-in time. It was much bigger than I expected and super clean. Breakfast was very good, and the lobby was so relaxing. Can't wait to come back!

My family had a wonderful stay. The rooms were amazing, the front desk did everything they could to make it pleasant, and breakfast was spot on. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely come back.
