I’m always stopping here when I travel through the high desert, and the rooms are consistently clean with helpful staff. The restaurant inside serves great breakfast and dinner, and the prices are very reasonable for this area. Ask for Lexi if you have questions about your stay or want to ask about a company discount. Highly recommended.

I’d explained that my husband has an amputated leg, can’t walk far, and needed a first-floor room after we’d been driving all day. I also said not to book us if they couldn’t accommodate that, since they would already take the money from our account. Before booking, I’d called with questions about the layout, but as soon as I said I needed a room, they transferred me to reservations and I couldn’t get the rest of my questions answered. At check-in, the front desk said whoever made the reservation hadn’t left any messages. They first assigned us a third-floor room at the back, far from the elevators. The front desk woman eventually moved us to the second floor, closer to the elevators, and gave my husband a wheelchair.

The rooms were okay, though there were no outlets on the nightstand. The AC was a bit unreliable and weak, so I had to set it to the lowest level to keep from getting hot. Even set to 60, the room didn’t get below 68. Driving in and out is awkward because the entrance is so close to the light. The front entrance was like a furnace, and there wasn’t coffee already made and sitting out like at most places. It was fine, just missing some of the little things I’m used to at hotels :p

Housekeeping seemed to be doing a good job, even with all the quality issues around the hotel. The lobby and fitness room smelled very moldy, and the rooms and common areas had peeling wallpaper, large gaps around doors, insects, smells, and other finish problems. Our first room on the second floor had cockroaches, so the team moved us right away to a higher room that didn’t have them and smelled considerably less bad. Management ignored several requests to discuss the cockroach issue. I’d try to avoid staying here if I had the option.
