Doubletree by Hilton Pleasant Prairie Kenosha

The pool and hot tub were great, and the restaurant breakfast was very good with great service. We were also close to the outlet mall. The hotel is showing some ordinary wear with age, but nothing too bad. I left a nice winter jacket in the room closet. I called twice, and housekeeping said they hadn't found it. I'm disappointed because I know I left it there, though I suppose it was my fault for forgetting it. Otherwise, we had a nice stay.

The room was very clean, and the bathroom looked nicely updated. There's an indoor pool, and the small fitness room had two working treadmills, a bike, an elliptical and a tiny free-weight area. Parking was plentiful, and the outlet mall is right across the street. The man at the front desk was kind and helpful, and the elevator worked well.

We loved the warm cookies, and the place was clean with friendly staff. There were a lot of functions happening during our visit, but things seemed to run smoothly. Having a restaurant and bar right there was convenient, and other places to eat weren't far away. The only issue was that the elevators were out of service for a few hours on both days we stayed. I also found it funny that there's a sign telling people not to hang garments from the fire sprinkler.

The customer service was great, and our room was clean. Breakfast isn't free, but the hotel restaurant was delicious. Plan on spending around $15 per person.
