After a long day of rough travel, Tohshe at Best Western made the end of it so much nicer. We walked in without a reservation and were worried about finding the wheelchair accessible setup we needed. She did everything she could to help, and the customer service was amazing. I’m so grateful she greeted us and took care of us. Sorry if I got her name wrong.

The manager refused to refund me and called maintenance to paint over the problem instead. I found black mold in the room after two days of breathing trouble and migraines. The bathroom had recently been remodeled, which was the dead giveaway. Use your best judgment and be careful.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely priced. Breakfast could be better, there wasn’t much to it.

I stopped in after a long drive from Houston to ask about the price and see whether they had a pool. JASON, a short white guy, didn’t even welcome me. He said I’d driven in too fast and needed to slow down. When I asked if he was the manager, he said no, and when I asked his name, he wanted to know why. I work in customer service, and that’s no way to greet people. Poor service and a bad attitude. I won’t give him my business. 😠

We stayed one night for a family funeral. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and there are no complaints from me. Jason and the woman who took over after him, whose name I didn’t get, both deserve an A+ for their helpful, friendly service.
