The staff were some of the most polite and helpful I’ve come across in a long time. The room, though, kept turning up another problem. The toilet paper rolls were too narrow for the holder and fell out, and the paper itself was extremely thin, rough, single-ply. Two outlets in the dressing area and bathroom were so loose that plugs dropped out. The unused outlets around the room were loose too, so I had to unplug a floor lamp to get a working one. After my wife came out of the shower, we found that the full pump bottle of body soap wouldn’t dispense anything. The shower also had secured pump bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We’d already unpacked before finding all this, or I might have looked for another property.

My husband and I booked six nights for a Thanksgiving trip, and I was disappointed by how small the room was. There’s hardly space for luggage or clothes, so it’s been difficult to get settled comfortably. I expected a more functional room for a Marriott stay.

I wasn’t impressed by this hotel for a business stay, and the lack of cleanliness was noticeable. Parking right outside costs $10.00 every night. It was quiet, though, and there were several places to eat close by.

The shower pressure was fantastic, which matters to me, and the property itself deserved the five stars. I had a good two-night stay, even though getting checked in took nearly two hours after a long workday, from 7am to 10pm, and arriving at 11pm. The delay came from a paperwork issue with my Marriott owner discount. The desk associate asked for an associate form, though my Bonvoy card showed I was an owner and, since the program changed three years ago, owners normally only need to show that card. Marriott’s websites were under maintenance, so I couldn’t access my account to print the form. Support kept me on hold for over 90 minutes while they worked it out. They eventually did. The woman at the desk was just following her job, and I don’t blame her.
