Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting

The lobby and bar were nice places to spend some time, and the staff made the week for us. Kayla and Hannah were both so friendly and professional, just the best. They deserve a raise. The hotel was clean and convenient too. We’ll come back and stay here because of those two, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon. Thanks again, Kayla and Hannah! ⛳

The rooms were clean, but I can’t see a reason to come back. I’m Titanium Elite, and although they said an upgrade was available, they wouldn’t give me one. There’s no lounge, complimentary breakfast or even coffee, and they didn’t offer breakfast credits either, even with top tier status. The shower started with bone-cold water when it was below -5°F outside, took a long time to heat up, and then came down with more pressure than I could comfortably take. The elevator wobbled badly enough to scare guests, especially on a building with only four floors. There wasn’t any moisturizer in the room, a small issue, but it would’ve helped in that cold weather. The bistro was expensive, which I could accept, but the portions were a joke. After paying $15 for a plate, even a toddler might not find it filling.

The cafe staff, both at the counter and cooking, were fantastic, and we really enjoyed breakfast. The hotel is clean and in a lovely town, with friendly, attentive staff. Our accessible room was comfortable, and the linens were clean. The one issue was the shower: no matter how we positioned the head, water spread across the whole bathroom. The drainage needs to be leveled differently. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

A few room details were annoying. There weren’t enough outlets by the bed, so bring a power strip. The TV is fixed to the desk and can’t be moved back to free up the surface. There isn’t much space for makeup, and although the hall mirror helped, its lighting was poor. The pull-out table was useful, but you have to extend it if you want to write something while your partner eats or has coffee. I also found something sticky under the bedside table when I moved it to reach the outlets. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and check-in was quick. The bathroom was spacious, well stocked and had fantastic pressure and plenty of very hot water. Lobby coffee tasted good, and the food was very good with generous portions. Prices were a little high, but eating there was easier than going elsewhere. The hotel was quiet and pretty relaxing.
