Baymont by Wyndham Plymouth

It's a nice place, and everything was clean. The room and furniture had very little damage, and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was a bit lackluster, though, and I don't think the $200 I paid for the night was worth it. I'd expect it to cost $60 or $70 less somewhere else, but I'm guessing they raise the rates because it's so close to the racetrack.

The pool and hot tub were really nice, and stayed open until midnight. The Depot in Plymouth was recommended as a restaurant.

The people working here made my weekend. The woman looking after the breakfast room was so nice, had a great personality, and went out of her way to help guests feel welcome and comfortable. The young woman at the front desk on 5/11 was fantastic too, and helped make my stay welcoming and accommodating. I stayed from 5/9 to 5/11, and she also sorted out an issue quickly. I tend to judge a hotel more by its staff than by the rooms, which are usually pretty standard. These two employees deserve compliments and raises. They're the reason I'll be back next year for the "Jazz on the Vine" event in Elkhart Lake. Thanks for a great weekend!

Breakfast was a big letdown. For what this hotel costs, packaged food isn't good enough. I don't recommend staying here. Not good.
