Comfort Suites

The room itself was decent, but I won't be back. When I booked, I was told the pool and hot tub were working; on arrival, I learned they were closed for repairs. Nobody mentioned the deposit, which cost more than the room. Even though I'd been given wrong information, they wouldn't waive the cancellation fee and said I'd owe the full room charge if I cancelled. I felt stuck staying or paying for a room I wasn't using, and I'm unhappy with how it went.

Suzy was great, but the rest of the staff were unfriendly, and the manager was especially rude when I checked out. I had given more than 16 hours' notice that I wouldn't need another night, yet they charged me for the night I didn't stay. The manager practically berated me for asking for my $80 back. Even as a rewards member, I was treated terribly, and the policy was the worst I've encountered. The place is dingy, and the rooms are pretty nasty with a slight cigarette smell. It still works as a hotel, but after the manager wouldn't help when I had to leave early because of an emergency, I can't recommend it. If you stay, make sure you'll use the whole booking or reserve one night at a time, or they may keep your money. Gross and unfriendly. Find somewhere nicer.

The indoor pool and wellness center with exercise equipment were both great. My son and I had a lot of quality time there while staying in room 101. Ron and Susie were professional and helpful with all our needs, and the rooms were clean and up to date.

The staff member at the front desk wasn't mean, just completely uninterested in us. The room and shared areas were dirty, and the overhead light kept switching itself on during the night and waking everyone up. When we opened the couch to make up the sleeper sofa, there was food inside it. A ridiculous stay, and the second-worst hotel I've ever been in.
