Powhatan Motel

Breakfast was awesome, and the coffee really hit the spot. Service was good too. My first time at this restaurant didn't go well, but the most recent visit was much better. I'll definitely be back soon.

We stopped here on our way to Branson, MO, then stayed again on the trip home. I wish I'd known about it earlier, since I'd probably stay here and just drive into St Louis. I hate cities. It's right off the Interstate, with clean rooms, modern bathrooms, walk-in showers, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is served at the on-site restaurant, where the food is good and the staff friendly. There's even a room off the dining area with slot machines you can play.

The room was squeaky clean, the bed and pillows really comfy, and the restaurant food was yummy. We spotted the billboard while driving on hwy. and liked the Name, so we decided to give the place a chance. What a find. The staff went above and beyond by mailing back a very special personal item we left in the room. I can't say enough good things about this place. It was so nice to meet honest folks. We'll be back for sure.

The price for a night with a large dog was very economical, a little below other places in the area. The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. It's out of the way, but a great find. It's not really wheelchair accessible, though it wasn't hard to adapt. They were considerate of both my pet and the other clients with pets. I'll return when I'm in the area, and I'd recommend it to my friends.
