The shower was one of the best I've had in a hotel. The temperature could fluctuate, but the pressure was solid. The rooms are extremely comfortable, even though the older building could use more electrical outlets. Far enough from the highway that we never heard it. As of early August 2024, I can say this is a great hotel.

The room was spacious and, as far as I can remember, clean and well kept. There's a grocery store close by and a few restaurants next door. The woman at the front desk was very nice, and the service was amazing. For what you get, this is definitely the best priced motel in the area.

We got a ground-floor room when we asked, and the place met our basic needs: somewhere clean to shower and sleep with our two dogs. There isn't a proper place to walk dogs, though. A small patch of grass beside a busy road doesn't work for a large dog. The parking lot was tight, and the road is one-way with an alley behind it. Some rooms are full-time rentals, and the area made us a little uncomfortable. The hotel is only a few blocks from the college.

It's an old place, but a young family has taken on the job of lovingly fixing it up, and you can see improvements all over. The curtains may be old, but the bedding was new and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The new fridge and microwave were a nice bonus too. You get what you pay for, and I think we got a little more than we paid for. The staff were wonderful, a nice family and sweet housekeeping staff.

What a dump. I can't recommend staying here unless you take the manager up to your room at check-in and make an inventory first. I was going to write about how quiet and peaceful our stay had been, but after checkout the manager called to accuse my girlfriend and me of taking their towels, then charged me 12 bucks.
