The River Gem B&B

The pony swim was lovely, but the best part of the trip was staying at The River Gem. A year ago, my daughter and I were in town for the event, and the owner and her daughters made us feel welcome even before we arrived. I had particular dietary needs, and they went above and beyond to accommodate them. The food was delicious, especially their distinctive iced tea blend. Our room was tasteful and exquisite, with plush robes and slippers provided. Ask the owner about her jewelry collection. I highly recommend staying here.

The personalized menus, homemade granola, and delicious breakfast were all so thoughtful. The host was attentive when we needed something without being intrusive. We've stayed at many B&Bs and met plenty of excellent hosts, but this place goes beyond that. The rooms are lovely, the bed comfortable, and the fixtures cute, with space left to unpack your own things. So much care and attention to detail. Highly recommended if you're within 100 miles, and we look forward to returning to be spoiled again.

Breakfast was personalized to our tastes and fit for a king. The innkeeper and her daughter were friendly and lovely to chat with. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the house itself was charming and tidy. All the little touches made the stay especially pleasant. We look forward to coming back!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the B&B is beautiful. Mona, the owner, and her daughter Violet are such sweet, wonderful hosts. I'll definitely come back!
