The desk staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, though cheap and clearly needing some upkeep. We booked two rooms by phone, asked for non-smoking rooms next to each other, and called again two days before arrival to confirm. Instead, one room was for smoking, and the two rooms were about as far apart as they could be. My elderly parents were in the non-smoking room, but its phone didn't work, and they don't carry cell phones. They weren't comfortable there, so we left. The pool and broken basketball net were listed as amenities, though they didn't seem to get much use. The picnic table and bonfire area behind the motel was used often, and it looked like there'd be a lot of partying Friday night. There seemed to be some effort to maintain the place, and the staff were pleasant, but the setup wasn't right for my parents. If you're skiing or visiting the Poconos and don't expect to spend much time in your room, it might work for you. At $120 a night, it wasn't super cheap.

For the lowest price in the Pocono mountains, I thought the room was good, though not excellent. This isn't a 5 star hotel, and the price reflects that. I nearly canceled after reading the bad reviews, but I'm glad I didn't. We stayed two nights. The bathroom was very clean, the towels spotless, and the bed comfortable with fresh, stain-free linens. The pillows were clean but in poor shape and should be replaced. The room itself was clean, including the chairs, tables, and carpet, though the carpet was old and didn't feel very nice. The TV table drawers stuck because the side rails were broken, and the chair cushion needed updating. The AC was turned way up, but its remote was in the side table drawer. The owner or staff live behind the office, so you ring the bell to check in. The staff were helpful, and one came over when I was struggling with the door without me having to ask. The room smelled odd when we opened the door, likely because there was no cross ventilation, and some air freshener would help. We also found a used tea bag by the coffee mug. The door locks worked, but replacing them would be a good idea. The bathroom compared well with other hotels costing $150-200 a night where I've stayed in the Poconos. I'd recommend this place at its low price, and the pictures should give you a better idea of what to expect.

The staff were so uncomfortably rude that the whole stay was pretty awful. There was a definite language barrier, and they only spoke Hindi. Don't expect a smile. This felt like a basic place worth $50 a night, so please don't pay more. Make sure you get fresh sheets and pillowcases at check in. I had a large king room that was clean apart from the mold, with some updates and AC that worked well. The pool looked clear, but I didn't use it. There was mold on the shower curtain, a thin one like you'd get at Dollar Tree. They could improve customer service and replace it or use bleach. The online photos made it seem like there was somewhere to walk, but there wasn't. There was no WiFi in the rooms. They might have a router in the office, but it didn't reach. My door didn't seal, so cigarette smoke from the neighbors came right in.

We stayed in April, during the off season, when there was just one staff member doing a bit of everything. The motel seemed well maintained and the room was clean. In room 115, a few things were loose: the bathroom mirror wasn't secured well, the toilet seat needed tightening, and the lounge chair felt rickety. Both sets of towels smelled of smoke, apparently from being stored in a room where employees smoke. They should be kept somewhere smoke free. The price is reasonable, the WiFi was good, and the room was clean, so it worked as a place to sleep for the night.

The place looked disastrous, so I had to cancel my reservation. I'd seen pictures of it brand new on Priceline.com, but it seemed run down now. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and had an old, moldy odor. The bed looked used rather than clean, and the coffee mug looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. I expected a kitchenette based on the pictures, but apparently only one room has one.
