Hilton Nashville Downtown

I paid $771 for two nights, and it wasn’t worth it. The room looked dated and needed attention, and I took photos of stains that were there when I arrived. First, the room smelled strongly of nail polish remover, so the front desk kindly moved me. The replacement room smelled like cigarettes. Staff sent cleaning up to ionize it, but that didn’t help. The great location and the front desk’s efforts are why I’m giving two stars instead of one.

Our suite had a living area with a desk, TV, safe, and refrigerator, plus a separate master suite with another TV. Both areas opened onto the bathroom, which was roomy and had a large counter for toiletries. The only downside was parking, though downtown Nashville hotels seem to charge about the same. We’d stay again for a StayCation. We ended up here unexpectedly during 2026 Ice Storm Fern with our two dogs. Hilton was very welcoming to both our last-minute booking and the pets. There’s a little park across from the entrance for taking them out. Staff greeted us with smiles and offered help whenever we needed it. Kudos to the manager for training the team well. Since we didn’t know when our power would come back, they let us extend our stay one day at a time instead of following the usual cancellation policy, which we really appreciated. The location is hard to beat in the Broadway Nashville area. Walk out the door and there are lots of places to eat, including Assembly Hall, as well as bars and shops. There’s also a nice coffee shop and several restaurants on site, with room service available.

Breakfast was a letdown. At $24 per person, the average food wasn’t worth the price, which also wasn’t clearly posted. I saw several people ask the wait staff how much it cost, then leave. The service itself was pleasant, but the whole setup felt disingenuous and like I’d been hoodwinked. The room layout was nice, though street traffic below was easy to hear. Our son's linens were soaked with something suspect, so we asked for replacements. They dropped off new ones, leaving us to remake the bed while the nasty linens stayed in the room. We also had to wait for one of our two rooms because the manager had security verify that it wasn’t occupied. I’d never encountered that before. We waited in the other room a couple doors away, and appreciated that the manager brought the keys over. The valet team was amazing and gave great service. After that, things went downhill. There was too much negative for me to stay again.

Everything was clean and modern, and I left extremely happy, a 10 out of 10. There was plenty of space, including a spacious sofa bed and a second TV. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the fruit and omelets. Everyone was friendly, starting with the valet attendants, and the service was excellent. I haven’t found a place like this since the pandemic.
