Boardwalk Beach Inn

For a shore stay, it's still a good deal and I'll definitely come back. The accommodations are very nice, though the wifi signal in the room was so weak I couldn't check emails or post anything. Reception worked much better around the pool. Parking is tight too, and probably won't fit anything larger than a midsize SUV.

The king bed studio was comfortable, and the rooms are clean and look great. Teddy at the desk was a wonderful, friendly guy who took care of everything I needed. He even challenged me to tic-tac-toe, which caught me off guard but was a fun way to break the ice. It's a nice place for a small location. Parking is a bit tight with an oversized truck or SUV, and the showers are small but do the job. I haven't tried the heated pool yet since it was 60 degrees out, though it looked clean. The boardwalk is a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute walk, depending on your speed. I'll definitely be back.

When I arrived to check in, they told me I was already checked in. They showed me a card signed by someone with a completely different name who had been given my room. The employee didn't know how that happened because it was handled by the person on the previous shift, and nobody had checked whether the woman was actually me. They gave me a different room, but one of the beds had a very wobbly frame that needed fixing after 9:30 at night. There were cracked tiles on the floor and in the shower. I wasn't given an apology or any compensation for the inconvenience.

The office gentleman was really helpful when we had a wifi issue. We stayed during the week and found the place quiet and very nice. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we could use the private beach area at the sister locations. I'd definitely stay here again.
