The bed was a bit stiff, but I really had no complaints. The pool was clean and nice, and breakfast at the little bar thing was great. It's a mile from the boardwalk, so we walked down. Parking was rough, though we managed without issues. Don't let that put you off staying here. Highly recommend.

We had a really relaxing beach getaway at Driftwood Motel. The rooms were clean, and the location was great. Betty an is amazing ❤️ We'd definitely stay again. 🌴✨

On our first visit, we found our new favorite Jersey Shore spot. The outside and our room were spotless, and the private beach was a great perk. There's a beautiful pool, plenty of outdoor tables and chairs, cabanas, and an outdoor breakfast and lunch bar. BettyAnn was the best!

I booked a room for myself for last night, 9/6/25, at $140. Teddy, the attendant, kindly took $10 off the $150 price. The room and bathroom were clean. I had no trouble with noise from nearby guests during the night, but people were talking loudly in the outside hallway around 7 / 7:30AM while I was trying to rest, followed by screaming kids and loud adults past 8AM. I needed to catch up on sleep. The AC setup was frustrating. The unit was on one wall and the thermostat on the opposite wall, as a sign in the office explains. I set it to 72°F, but the unit kept running well below that temperature even though the fan was supposed to stop when it reached the setting. I woke up twice to raise it, but that didn't work, so I had to turn it off. The fan speed control was useless because it always ran on high. I figured they do this so guests give up and turn it off, which would mean a lower electric bill for them. When I mentioned the price and that it had been a while since I'd last stayed at a hotel, Teddy told me there was breakfast at the snack bar next to the pool. That gave me the impression breakfast was included, but it wasn't, and there wasn't even a free cup of coffee. I went to a 7-eleven instead, and won't give these people any more of my business. Edit: There was no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, so you have to ask for them at the office. The TV programming was boring to me, mostly shows from the 70s, like Columbo and Murder She Wrote, along with Star Trek from the 60s. At least there were NO porn channels, in case that helps keep the linen's hygiene the best possible.
