Shore Point Motel

I found a hotel nearby for Thanksgiving after last year’s drive to my relatives’ dinner in Brick took more than three hours. It was a great decision, and I got to relax instead of sitting in traffic. I arrived around 1:30, before the 3 o’clock check-in, and my room was ready. They let me in early at no charge so I could work remotely. The location was excellent, with the beach, a 7-11, restaurants, bars, and a pizza place next door all close by. The boardwalk is about half a mile away, though it was November and everything there was closed. The restaurants and bars nearby were still open. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. My only complaint was road noise from the thin walls, since my room was closest to the road. It was a little noisy, but I still slept decently. Definitely worth it, and I’d stay again, maybe every Thanksgiving Eve.

I’ve been coming here for over ten years, and this is still my go-to hotel when I head down the shore. The rooms are very clean, the air conditioners work well, and the staff are friendly. The pool area is large and clean, a nice spot to sit and have a drink. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the start of the boardwalk, the train station, and the main street in pt pleasant beach. My one gripe is the mirrors. There’s only a small one in the bathroom and another in the room, both too high, even though there seems to be room for a full-length mirror. Otherwise, I keep coming back.

The rooms are very nice, and the balcony is cool. Bookingdotcom said they all had baths, but that isn’t the case.

We were visiting for a wedding, and the motel let us check in early at no extra charge so we could get ready, even though the regular check-in time was 3. The front desk staff were really helpful with directions around the area. The rooms are a bit outdated, but ours was clean and roomy. It’s also conveniently located near the boardwalk. We’d recommend staying here.
