Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach

I chose this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be, but I probably won't return. The front entrance did have a strong fresh smell. Breakfast was the standard continental offering, nothing to complain about, and the check-in man and checkout woman were fine. The second-night desk clerk said guests only get two bottles of water at check-in when I asked for some. Water pressure was below average, and only one elevator was working. It may have been out for weeks or may keep breaking down, based on what others have said in earlier posts. I was surprised to find Hilton had moved its concessions to a third party, so you can't charge those items to your room. It's an average hotel, a bit below what I'd expect from Hilton. I travel around Florida three or four days a week and stay only at Hilton hotels, so I have a good sense of the standard, and this one doesn't meet it. Some reviews from the past few weeks look a little suspicious to me. I suppose getting a few extra five-star reviews helps.

We booked six rooms for several family members, staying here both before and after our cruise. The property and our rooms were spotless, and we had no complaints. Breakfast had more variety than we expected at a Hampton by Hilton, including hot items that changed daily, juices, cereals, several waffle flavors, yogurt, fresh fruit and fruit salads, breads, bagels, and different egg and protein options. There was something for everyone. Manny at the front desk was fantastic from the moment we arrived. We were early for check-in, but he welcomed us to have the breakfast that was still being served, then had rooms ready for all of us by the time it ended. We appreciated it so much. He's top-notch and a real asset to the company. Thanks again, Manny, for making the stay wonderful. Hope you liked our gift!

Breakfast had plenty of choice, including options for different diets, and when I asked for daily housekeeping instead of the every-other-day schedule, they happily arranged it. The hotel's been my go-to place to stay in Cleanest Hampton for more than four years, and I'll keep coming back. It felt fresh and clean from the moment we walked in, with that cozy scent throughout. Manny helped with check-in and during the stay, and Zach, Divya, Sharima, and Maria were all friendly and professional. Thanks for a great stay!

The breakfast room was bright and spotless, and the spread had lots to choose from: cereal, fresh and freshly cut fruit, meat, eggs, and juice. The breakfast staff were lovely, and the front desk team was just as friendly and attentive to everything I asked for. The rooms were spacious and spotless too, and the whole place was extremely clean. It even smells like a luxury hotel as you walk in. Everyone I met seemed happy and ready to help. I loved staying here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
