Executive Inn Ponca City

I booked a room for June 16, 2020, at 9 p.m., but left at midnight and got no refund. At first the AC wouldn't cool the room, though I figured I could put up with that since it only cost $60. There weren't enough towels or washcloths either, so I went to the office for some. The real problem came when we went to bed and felt itchy, like things were crawling on us. We found mature bed bugs and one huge cockroach. The office refused to refund me and only said they spray for bed bugs. I didn't feel like arguing, so I'm leaving my experience here. Do yourself a favor and pay extra for a night at the Holiday Inn or Hampton.

Cleanliness matters a lot to me since we stay in motels often, and this place has kept improving. We're here with my husband, who's been working here for three months. Our renovated room had a clean tub and a new sink, no smell, and the rooms were cleaned every day with new linens, really brand-new white ones. The owners keep making improvements. The continental breakfast is all right, with cereal, milk, packaged pastries, and juice. Great, I recommend it.

The people were nice, but the place was pretty dirty. There was dirt on the sheets, and my son found a dead bedbug under his pillow. Breakfast wasn't great either: the cereal was stale and the milk was empty.

The room was affordable, and a very nice young man was at the front desk. We could park right outside, and the room had cable, a microwave, and a fridge. The sheets were nice, and both the heater and AC worked really well. Hot water came right away. The room could use some cosmetic work, and the walls were thin. It was an adjoining room, which may be why we could hear the neighbors' voices so clearly.
