Outdoors Inn

The room at Outdoors Inn was lovely and really spacious, with plenty of room to relax and spread out our ski equipment. It had a hip, cozy style and all the amenities we needed. The location made it easy to get downtown in Sandpoint or head up the mountain for skiing. The owner greeted us when we arrived and was very accommodating. The caregiver checked in when he saw us and always greeted us with a smile. We loved our little ski trip and would recommend this motel to anyone planning a Sandpoint getaway.

The owners and operators clearly care about the details. There’s good shampoo, body wash, and lotion, nice towels, bathroom fixtures, and mattresses, plus plenty of hooks for hanging your gear. They even have name-brand toilet paper. White noise machines are there to cover the train noise, though it didn’t bother me at all. Self check-in was super easy too. It’s a simple, straightforward place, but it’s the kind of motel they could proudly invite friends and family to stay at. By far my best motel experience. You should stay here. I’ll be back.

A cute little find for my road trip, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. The recently renovated room had lots of nice touches: a water kettle, fridge, good lighting, and comfy bed and linens. The bathroom was great, with a lovely soaking tub. Getting in with a code was easy, and the check-in and checkout messages were excellent.

I booked late, so being able to check in easily after hours was a real relief. The room was cute and cozy, and the tub was just right for relaxing after a full day of driving. In the morning, the in-room coffee setup let me take it slow without rushing.
