Man, where do I start? Roaches kept crawling on the walls near me, so sleeping was really uncomfortable. I had to pull the bed away from the wall so they wouldn't crawl on me. There were no towels, stains on the walls, and blood on the curtains. I know it's a low-budget motel, but where's the pride in the place? Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Check other local motels and hotels, you'll have a much better experience than I did.
I have no idea why Google Maps would put this first on the hotel list, unless it was a cruel joke. This place is a flop house, and calling it low-income housing would be too kind. I'm not even sure it's still operating as a hotel. There are actual hotels a couple of miles farther west by 55 in Pontiac.
We paid for two weeks and they still refuse to offer housekeeping. They want us to pay for every visitor, and have been digging through the garbage to see if there are diapers they can charge us extra for because kids are here. The woman is VERY rude and yells at customers. Ants get in, there's no heat, and the windows have no locks. Our toilet barely flushes. When we tell them, they blame us and say we have to fix it ourselves or live with it. Horrible service. I will never come back!
This place seems to serve as low-income housing for people going through hard times. It houses people who might otherwise be homeless on the street. Travelers looking for a motel stay probably wouldn't enjoy it.
The owners were friendly and helpful, which made staying here a pleasure. The rooms are clean, though a little dated. For a budget stay without frills, whether you're here for work or fun, it's a good option.
