Best Western Savannah Airport Inn & Suites (Ex Best Western Bradbury Suites)

The location was the one good thing for us. The lobby reeked of heavy cleaner and vomit, and our room smelled of smoke. The bathroom counter hadn’t been washed, and though there was a fancy mirror, the stained shower curtain was pinned up instead of being replaced. The whole room felt icky, so we skipped breakfast and left as soon as we could. At check-in, the man seemed annoyed to stop playing on his laptop. When my family came through, a teenager asked him for five towels and he yelled “5?!” with a nasty look.

The area was nice, but we checked into a dirty room with hair and dirt visible, the eggs at breakfast were gross, and half the outlets and charging ports didn’t work. The worst part was my son’s cowboy boots disappearing from our room while we were out that morning. They meant a lot to him, and I was in tears. The front desk agent wasn’t helpful or apologetic. He called housekeeping, got no answer, and stopped there. He didn’t check cameras, act with any urgency, take responsibility, or offer a solution. We were only there for the weekend, or I would have filed a police report. Please don’t let housekeeping into your room, and if they have to enter, hide your belongings or put them in your car. I’ll never return to this Theft Western.

For our school trip, I was glad the stay was only one night. The girls in the room across from us found a roach in their tub, and it smelled awful. Our pull-out mattress was yellow with a menstrual blood stain, and the hotel had run out of pillows, so the person sleeping on it had none. There were black dots and black hair on our shower curtain, though nobody in our room has black hair. Never staying at Best Western Savannah again. 0/10.

The airport was only an eight-minute drive away, which was really convenient. The rooms were spacious, the service friendly, and the location great. There was a heated pool, though apparently the hot tub is gone now. The hot breakfast was decent.
