Super 8 by Wyndham Mobile

I ended up staying a second night because my truck was still in the shop. That time I found a walking trail Google Maps doesn’t seem to know about, between Threemile Creek and I-65. It crosses railroad tracks and isn’t lit, so I wouldn’t take it after dark, but it got me to Hibachi Express for takeout. I also noticed the old Hardee’s beside the Super 8 had closed, which helps explain the lack of nearby restaurants. On my first night, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and they let me switch to a nonsmoking room after I accidentally booked a smoking room, with no extra charge. The tub and shower were very clean and looked recently remodeled. I liked that the TV lets you log in to Netflix, and you can log out remotely if you forget before leaving. Breakfast was sparse, just muffins and Fruit Loops with coffee, but still better than nothing. The location seemed fairly safe, though there isn’t much within walking distance. The closest food stop I found was Clark's convenience store, about a ten-minute walk away. Tarpon Club, a well-rated cocktail bar, is on the way there.
