We had a miserable stay at this place. The listing photos make it look updated and relaxing, but the condo was awful, barely a step above camping. There was a strong smell as soon as we entered, like mold, and I found mold or some other black substance by the old tub. The outdated bathroom light took ten minutes to come on. The ceilings were low and disgusting, and the air conditioner roared like a truck and shook the condo when it switched on and off. It scared my child. The fridge barely kept food cool, the ice maker didn’t work, and there was rust and a nasty yellow film inside the fridge and freezer. The kitchen was in rough shape too. The filthy old oven handle blocked a drawer from opening, grease had left a sticky, foul coating on the cabinets above the stove, and the empty paper towel holder was broken. There was no dining setup unless you put it together yourself, and the two chairs were broken while the table was missing a leg. The cheap folding beds were hard and sat inches from the entry door. The only closet was a dirty utility closet, partly blocked by a bed, with no usable luggage racks or clothing storage. Used towels were left in the washer. The electrical work seemed questionable. A wobbly bedroom ceiling fan had toilet paper shoved into its mount and didn’t work, and the kitchen light switch was in the living room. The bedroom TV loaded too slowly to use, and there was no door separating the bedroom from the rest of the condo. The blinds at the balcony door left a foot-wide gap at the bottom, and the living-room curtains didn’t close across the blinds. Two loose, broken plastic slats on the balcony seemed unsafe for my toddler. There was also an old wrecked vehicle parked right below us. Our parking spot was far from the room, with no elevator. Hauling groceries, luggage, and two small kids up steep wooden stairs in the humid heat took several trips and made a rough start to a much-needed vacation. I can’t understand the good reviews from last year. Sitting on that broken balcony, looking at the nicer resorts and condos around this creepy old motel 6-style place, was so disappointing. It needs a complete update or to be condemned.

The condo and property were very clean and well maintained, and being close to the beach was a must for us. It also had a nice full kitchen.

It could be a good place, but it’s dirty, outdated, and not maintained. Things are broken or torn.

I’d give this place negative stars if I could. There were two beds in the front room, literally inches from the door, and they were full size despite the promised queen size. Every blind was broken. In the front room, we had to fold a towel and tuck it behind the blind because it wouldn’t come all the way down, so anyone could have looked in. The blind facing the balcony couldn’t be opened because its lever was missing. The only place to hang clothes was the utility closet, and its door hit the foot of the bed, so it opened only about a foot. The AC return was nearly falling from the ceiling, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen. Parking was limited, with only four spots for all guests’ golf carts. The kitchen was tiny, and the dishwasher was dirty, so we would have had to clean it before using it. There was no complimentary shampoo, lotion, hairdryer, or Kleenex. For eight days, we got two rolls of toilet paper and one very thin bar of soap, so we had to buy our own supplies. The oversized stacked washer and dryer blocked the shower door from opening fully. They didn’t provide laundry soap but asked us to wash the towels and other things before checkout, which would have meant buying detergent. There was no elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage and ice chests up to the second floor in high humidity. We looked for another place, but everything was booked. I’m surprised by the five-star reviews. Even the online photos didn’t look like the place we got. DO NOT STAY HERE!
