The private fishing pier is great, with fishing lights, and the clean pool is well managed. Views are among the best on the island, and the place is beautiful and well kept. It's close to the beach and nearby businesses. Rooms are spacious and cozy, with a homey feel that makes you want to stay forever. Highly recommend it when choosing a place in Port-Aransas.

We'd rented here plenty of times and had great experiences, but this visit was a letdown. We checked in at 4pm and found a cigarette smell, a seashell necklace left in the bed, and an oven that wouldn't turn on. The pool was filthy, with so much sand I had to clean it myself. I assumed they'd have someone maintain it, but they didn't clean it until the last day, after my husband took pictures. If we'd paid less than $400, we'd have accepted the loss, since you get what you pay for, but $900 for 2 nights should mean a maintained, heated pool as described. This used to feel very clean and luxurious, which is why we didn't mind paying for the dock and pool together.

The kids could get up and head straight to the pier, which was perfect, and watching the shipping channel kept us all entertained. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. We loved the place and are ready to book for next year!

We had everything we wanted: assigned parking, a gate, a quiet setting, a pool, and a pier, with easy access to Port A and the beaches. At night, residents fish from the pier under green lights. We also saw interesting bird species and a dolphin feeding. Nice place, we'll be back.
