I checked in late on 9/21/25. The guy at the front desk wasn’t very friendly, and I was put in a room near the back. On the way to the door by the pool, I saw someone smoking marijuana. I was exhausted, so I went to my room. There was a strange smell, but I didn’t think much of it and went to sleep. When I got back from work the next day, the smell was worse. I looked around and found the room very dirty. Something was moving beside the trash can. There were mice behind it when I moved it. I gathered my things and checked out. Wouldn’t recommend this place!

Nothing but good things to say about my stay. Housekeeping changed the towels every day without me asking, which was great. I could also hang a tag outside my door requesting room service, and they’d do a full service the same day. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

The area was kind of loud, so this may not be the best place if you don’t like noise. Still, the rooms were great, breakfast was good, and the inside was a pleasant surprise. The customer service was PHENOMENAL! Abigail knew where everything was and helped me sign up for rewards after I told her how often I stay and that I’d never had a free night. She even helped me log in. Whenever I needed towels or had a problem, she came over right away and helped. SHE WAS THE SWEETEST HOTEL REP I’ve encountered in a long time. I’ll definitely be back!

The building was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel looks new. There’s a free lvl 2 EV charger. My room seemed fairly clean, though I did spot a few hairs on the floor. The TV wasn’t smart and had no Netflix, just satellite TV.

The free breakfast buffet was excellent, with real scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, waffles, juice, cereal, and a coffee machine. The pool was clean and worked well for swimming laps. Best Western Plus Midcounty is clean and well run. During a thunderstorm the TV had a problem, but the on-duty manager took care of it after the storm passed, and it’s working great now. We highly recommend BW Plus!
