La Quinta Inn & Suites Port Arthur

It’s a nice place, but I have a hard time believing there were no rooms available except on the first floor. With tile floors, I can hear roller bags going down the hallway. I’m also close enough to the front desk to hear someone moving pans around in the dining room almost at midnight.

I came to town to see family and this is easily one of my favorite places to stay. The staff and service were excellent, and the rooms feel like good value. There’s plenty of food and shopping nearby, too. I’ll recommend it and use this location again on future visits. Keep it up, plz!

My stay has been awful, and the only reason I’ve put up with so much is that my company is paying. The key cards keep failing, and maintenance left my door unlocked all day. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. The refrigerator has been leaking puddles for a week. I raised it with the manager, Ray, and heard nothing, so I followed up the next day. She got upset that I’d brought it to my company and started yelling at me in the lobby in front of everyone. She said that since I’d requested to be moved, she’d get me out fast. It was completely unprofessional.

I had a really satisfactory stay. The room cleaning ladies were kind, helpful, and polite, and they kept my room very clean. Breakfast was delicious, hot, and fresh. Miss Karen in the kitchen treated me very well and kept asking if I needed anything else. I’ll definitely stay here again.
