The outside was clean and well cared for, and my room was just as nice. Everything was in good shape, smelled fresh, and had what I needed. People can make assumptions from how a place looks, but my stay was really pleasant. I'd come back and recommend it. Thanks for everything 😁

We only found a room here because my uncle and I needed somewhere at the last minute and Bad Axe was full. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and we had hot water. The room was bright, clean, and stocked, with a cute kitchenette. The parking spaces were tiny, and the restroom felt cramped for me because of my claustrophobia, but those were minor issues. I'd stay here again. There also seemed to be a nice yard out back for kids.

We had no heat, and the motel was very uncomfortable 😜. The office manager checked and moved us to a different room, but that one had no heat either.

My employer regularly books rooms for us here. The rooms and beds are in great condition, and everything is clean, nicely painted, and well kept. Management is friendly and easy to work with.

After the coldest hunt my son and I have ever had, Mike made sure our room was open and the heat was on. We settled up with him that evening, and we really appreciated the help. I stayed at Bad Axe Motel on 12/25/2020, and it was the best motel room we've ever had. The beds were spotless and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, updated, and fully functional. There was a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a great kitchenette with clean utensils ready to use, and an updated TV. We'll make this our first choice for future trips and hunts in the Northern Thumb area. Nick & Tony
