We loved waking up at Tight Lines and having coffee on the dock while watching birds, fish, and even some sea animals. The house sits right on the channel in a peaceful spot, and it’s beautiful, cozy, well stocked, and had everything we needed and then some. It felt like a home away from home, whether we were relaxing inside or taking in the view outside. Yasmine was a great host, friendly and easy to reach before and during the trip, and made everything simple. The location is tucked away but close to everything: restaurants on the water and inland, music venues, grocery stores, parks, boardwalks, and beautiful beaches. We’d recommend Tight Lines for a quiet, lovely getaway with plenty to do nearby.

The dock was a favorite for fishing with the kids, kayaking, and paddle boarding, and we’ll stay here whenever we’re in the area. The house is close to shops and restaurants, and inside it was spotless, beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for an easy, relaxing stay. We spent time on the large back patio, which has a fire pit, table, and chairs. It was great for s’mores with the kids, morning coffee, or looking at the night sky. The wife, kids, and I enjoyed every minute.

We’d book this vacation house again. It was spotless, with cozy, nicely furnished bedrooms where everyone slept well, and a patio that was great for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The place had everything we needed, from cooking supplies to kayaks and beach chairs, plus a wide range of other amenities. It didn’t disappoint.

We loved sitting on the dock with a glass of wine, talking and watching fish jump. The place was very clean and well kept, and it’s close enough for day trips. Such a lovely spot for a girls trip!

The backyard at Tight Lines was beautiful, with two seating areas that both have large umbrellas. They also provide three fishing poles, life jackets, and a nice grill. Kayaks cost extra, but I’d recommend getting them. They’re on roller carts, which makes moving them easy. Since you have to lower them into the canal, though, be sure someone with a strong back can help launch and pull them out each time. There are several lovely beaches nearby, and Boca Grande, Venice, and the Jetty are all within 30 minutes. Boca Grande has amazing shell beaches and beautiful water. Shopping is close too, including Bealls, TJMaxx, Ross, Dicks Sporting Goods, Walmart, Publix, and Sam's Club. These are familiar stores rather than touristy shops. Inside, the home was spotless and spacious, with room for seven. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable week, including a well-stocked kitchen, games, books, puzzles, and comfortable beds with extra blankets. Yasmine and Jason were the best to work with: professional, quick to answer questions, and great at communicating by email and text. We’ll definitely return.
