We enjoyed the comfortable rooms and the property’s rich history. What a beautiful place, and Miss Hattie did a wonderful job with breakfast.

The owner was amazing and showed us around while sharing the history of the home. Isabella also suggested a great dinner spot, sending us to Luxe VIP Lounge and SandBar. The house is beautifully preserved, and the Guest Room comfortably fits three people. It’s so well insulated that we never knew there were other guests. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Tilly was such a warm, friendly, helpful host, and Sadie made us a hearty Southern-style breakfast, served with silver cutlery and lovely dinnerware. We felt lucky to be guests in this beautifully restored, 180-year-old home. It felt more like visiting family than staying somewhere overnight. We’d happily recommend it to anyone passing through Port Gibson. There’s a really cool local hotel a short walk away for dinner. The next morning, we walked around Port Gibson and took in the history and beauty of its many incredible homes. 😀😍

Port Gibson is a hidden gem, with interesting architecture, plaques explaining the history of many houses, and lots of lovely porches where you can rest, chat, and enjoy the sights and sounds. It’s very walkable and close to the Natchez Trace parkway. The hosts know the town’s history well and sat with us in the evening and over breakfast to answer our questions. My sister and I stayed at Isabella’s while bicycling the trace, and it was a perfect place to rest and refuel after a long day. The hosts were accommodating and let us store our bikes in the locked all season room at the back of the house. Cold cokes were waiting for us, and they pointed us toward good places to explore and eat. The hosts and the B&B were equally darling. Don’t miss this stop!

The directions for cyclists to avoid bad roads were spot on, and the welcome sweet tea and cookies were just what I needed after a long day on the Natchez Trace. My wife and I stayed here at the end of March while I was cycling, and it was a wonderful experience. They gave us great local food tips and suggested a side trip to Windsor Ruins. We chatted like old friends, and Bobbye made exactly the right breakfast for my early departure to Natchez. It’s a beautiful historic home, highly recommended!
