Sonya was amazing as the breakfast host and looked after us so well. She was the highlight of our trip. The front desk host was lovely too. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable, but the room was very dirty and needs maintenance. The phone and clock were broken. A little care would make the room great.

The check-in and checkout clerk was the best part of the stay, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The property needs a deep clean and a major renovation. Carpets across the hotel were stained and smelled bad, and mildew was visible in places along walls and carpet edges. Hallway AC didn’t seem to work well, leaving the building warm, humid, and uncomfortable. There was a strong marijuana smell in the corridors and near guest rooms. The parking lot lighting was poor enough to feel like a real safety concern at night. Taken together, the deterioration, mildew, odors, weak climate control, poor lighting, and apparent maintenance issues seem to create substantial liability and risk management concerns. The chance of an incident leading to legal action or a large financial judgment seems unacceptably high. The property needs immediate reinvestment and modernization, or should consider closing until conditions can be adequately addressed.

Sonya was wonderful at breakfast. She made waffles for guests and kept all the food hot and stocked. She checked that we had what we needed and made the whole meal feel welcoming.

The room was quiet, which was the one bright spot, though the hallways were loud. It smelled bad and was very dirty. Our sheets had orange spots, foam was coming out of the mattress, and the carpet had a lot of dust and questionable stains. Staff were mostly friendly when we could find them, but we didn’t get any housekeeping during our three-day stay.
