InTown Suites Extended Stay Select Atlanta GA - Smyrna

I booked online on 01/23/26, but when I arrived, the woman at the desk said there were no rooms because she’d forgotten to take them off the site. She didn’t offer a refund, and I had to ask after waiting while she helped others. The other customers were men, and she was very friendly to them but rude to me. She did process my refund after I asked. While I waited for the receipt, a man came in and said he’d just made an online reservation, and suddenly she had a room for him. It seems Ms. Danny is helpful and friendly to male customers but treats women poorly. SMH, I wonder if they get a discount too.

After seven days, we asked to move rooms. When we arrived Thursday around 2, no one appeared until 3, coming out of the office. Our room on the third floor was gross and seemed uncleaned. I put my own sheets over the ones there because of the small hairs, cleaned the unwashed toilet with my own Lysol spray, and used my own bug spray for the bugs. The shower was okay and had hot water, but its curtain needed replacing. The fridge was okay, though the condiment side had what looked like mold stains and needed replacement. I also swept dead bugs and slugs with my own broom and dustpan. I’m glad to be leaving for New York and won’t have to deal with the room any longer. I believe you can do better.

We were covered in bites and got kicked out with a refund, after what I believe were bed bugs. It was our first night. We waited in the car from 3 a.m. until 11, when they opened, and the manager barely let me into the office. She was extremely rude, and I felt treated like I wasn’t human. The front office manager, a Black woman with blonde hair/weave, even told me we brought the bugs with us. I’d spoken with her the day before because she was mean when I first arrived, with no smile, and I’d tried to brighten her day. This whole situation brought sadness to my family. Please don’t take your kids here. My 3-year-old was in the room with us. We’re homeless and had hoped for another room, and now we’re waiting to see when the refund comes. God be with us. BAD BUSINESS ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Siobhan Danzy, the General Manager, is professional, extremely helpful, and knows the surrounding area well. The maids are timely and thorough, rooms are neat and clean, and the grounds and corridors are kept clean too. It’s a great place to stay and very reasonably priced.
