Rodeway Inn & Suites Smyrna - Nashville Area

My kids were afraid to go outside alone, and honestly, I was scared too. When we left, we watched the cleaners sweep the floor with a towel, fold it up, and then use it to wipe the counters. The pool had no water, the lamps didn’t work, and we could never get the TV working. Our first room smelled so strongly of cigarettes it took our breath away, but the staff were nice enough to move us to another room. My husband told the manager about the things that didn’t work, and he claimed he’d checked the room himself.

The room was clean and the price was reasonable. There’s no breakfast, even though the app says it’s offered. They only had coffee.

The first room was dirty, and the hot tub’s hot-water side had no handle. It flooded the room, so they moved us to another one. That room was clean, but the same thing happened and water went across the floor. The guy accused me of causing the flood, which wasn’t true at all. I’ll never go back.

It was a quiet spot, and the room was clean. It looked freshly remodeled, like a couple of maids had done the work. Road construction made it a pain to get there, but I found it. Not a bad place to stay.
