We spent three nights here and had consistently great service. Thomas, the manager, was helpful in explaining more about my status and the hotel’s protocol, and the rest of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower pressure amazing. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, and there were new coffee machines. This location has the usual Holiday Inn Express amenities. I’d highly recommend it and stay again.

On April 24th, 2026, I asked about checking out late at around 11:30 pm. She asked if I meant 12-1, then said 1 was possible. When she looked up our details and saw I was a diamond member, she set checkout for 2 pm. I was so happy to have the extra time. I wanted to help housekeeping, so I stripped the bedding, bagged the trash, and left the towels in the bathroom. Room #114. In my opinion, this is the best hotel Port Huron has to offer. DoubleTree is great too, but there’s no breakfast unless you pay, and it can be pricey. Hampton and Baymont by Wyndham didn’t impress me. Kids were running down the hallways, the pools looked disgusting, and Baymont had no elevator or ice maker.

Rain pushed our baseball tournament from Friday and Saturday to Sunday and Monday, and the Holiday Inn Express let us check out Saturday morning and move our stay to Sunday night. That saved us from paying for an extra night while our team of 12-year-olds was running around the hotel during the day. The front desk staff were being bombarded with customers, but he stayed calm and got everything sorted without any issues on my end. Kudos to him and management for making it happen.

Sarah at the front desk was awesome. She got us checked in, found my membership, and settled us in with a smile. Joseph was always moving around, working on something. The whole staff was great, and breakfast was awesome every day.

We stayed on 12/24 & 12/25 2025 and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Tenisha kept everything filled with a smile and such a winning personality, and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were helpful and professional. She made the stay especially pleasant.
