Alexis and the whole front staff were great. Everyone was friendly and helped with whatever I needed. I really enjoy staying at this hotel.

There were roaches, spiders, and snakes, and the room smelled like stale urine. A homeless person was sleeping on the bench by the entrance. The customer service woman working at 11:55 p.m. on NOVEMBER 12TH 2025 was extremely rude and unfriendly to a guest. She had me removed by police after I asked for the free beverage and snack Diamond members are entitled to. The housekeepers were smoking marijuana outside beside my work vehicle, so I had to move it to avoid the smell. They need to drug test all the employees here. I absolutely don't recommend staying. Save your money.

The TV wouldn't go below channel 72, so there were no local channels or movies, just ads, Scooby Doo, an animated burger show, and King of the Hill. People were also going crazy loudly enough that I had to call the front desk repeatedly. It was pathetic, and I couldn't sleep. I stayed for about 90 days. Water from the AC by the window leaked onto the carpet near the desk. I'd find the wet spots by walking through them in my socks, so I stopped wearing socks or going barefoot. I moved to another room, but its refrigerator didn't work, and it took almost two weeks to get a replacement. I told every employee on both day and night shifts each day, and heard promises that someone would tell, text, or message the manager. I also had to report when the sink soap dispenser was empty or the shower had no shampoo or body wash. The faucet now leaks across the countertop and onto the floor too.

The rooms were clean, and the lobby smelled nice when I came in. A lovely woman at the front desk greeted me. It's close to the beach, HEB, Dollar Tree, and Walmart.
